"The Small House" at 293

At 293 Manchester Road, Millhouse Green, "The Small House" is one bedroomed terrace house. All the fixtures and fittings were new in 2007.

A gas-fired combination boiler provides central heating and instant hot water in both kitchen and bathroom.

The living room, with gas fire, vinyl flooring and mats, has two easy chairs, a sofa, television (with freeserve) and radio/cassette/cd player. Occasional tables and lamps make it a pleasant room in which to relax.

The kitchen has fitted units and an electric oven with gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, small microwave cooker, electric kettle and toaster. There is a good supply of crockery, glass, cutlery and cooking utensils. A drop-leaf table in which four dining chairs are stored can be used in either the kitchen or the living room.

Upstairs is one family bedroom with one double and one single bed permanently and a visitor bed available, making it suitable for four people. The beds have electric blankets and duvets. The room has a chest of drawers and two bedside cabinets and a double wardrobe.

The bathroom is equipped with a bath and shower over, washbasin, electric shaver point, etc. There is a separate toilet, with WC and washbasin. A hair dryer is provided.

Visitors to 293 share a backyard with those at 295 and also share a laundry block with washer, dryer and hanging line, a toilet and washbasin.

No smoking is the rule, as at Moor Royd.
